Creating a symbolic logo for a landmark property development at historic ADI site

Overview
Kingsbury Apartments is a new property development proposed to be built at the historical ADI (Australian Defence Industries) site in Western Sydney. The client wanted to pay tribute to the historical significance of the area in the brand identity.
During the ideation phase, I researched the history behind the ADI which provided inspiration for the design direction of the logo. The winning concept was 'war planes' flying up in the sky forming the letter 'K'. This was used as a key design element used through their marketing materials. The colours navy and gold simply represented the brand with a luxe and modern personality.
